Soul-Motivation

A special thanks to these Motivators who have helped me along my journey back to me...

Your book, Elle, taught me many things; however, what truly caught my attention is:


  • When you proclaimed "your beauty may get you in the door; but, your brain is what will keep you in the room"!  
  • When you spoke about your HOW...forcing me to ask myself if I am truly Honest, Open, and Willing?  
  • When you reminded me it's okay to HALT because I'm Hungry, Angry, Lonely, and/or Tired!  


THANK YOU so much for reminding me that HOW I approach my life is a journey from my head to my heart and that ride may require a lot of HALTs and that is okay!  THANK YOU, Elle!


Your research and data on Broken Heart Syndrome was life changing!  To understand that heartbreak creates stress hormones which reshapes the heart and can lead to collapse...motivates me to follow your advice, which I'm paraphrasing..."I can't run the marathon of my life without getting my needs met and I need people.  I need relationships; but, good relationships with good people.  My need for connection is real.  I cannot starve myself of connection."  THANK YOU, Dr. A!


The content you share via social media is beyond what my words can explain.  THANK YOU, Lisa!  You are helping me!  


Because of you and your content, I've been able to find hope in love, again!  I'm finally able to accept that my grief is my process and is a natural emotion to loss that doesn't necessarily mean death.  I will not be afraid to grieve else I will be afraid to live. THANK YOU, Matthew!

Triggers, Trauma, and Teachings...all subconscious patterns developed from my past.  Your Personal Development School taught me how my mind is 96% controlled by my subconscious (fight or flight mode) because it's been programmed to "survive" due to my past trauma.  By understanding my triggers, I'm able to sustain and remain through discomfort by self-soothing techniques, which reprograms my sub-c to regulate my c (conscious)...my mind is my battlefield - but NOT anymore.  THANK YOU, Thais!


The Holistic Psychologist has taught me coping mechanisms to soothe my nervous system during  anxious moments.  THANK YOU, Dr. Nicole!


Infamous author of the renowned memoir, Wild. Cheryl Strayed captivated and held my attention through to the end of the book (not an easy feat). Post-read, I was inspired to learn more about her which led to me participating in one of her writing workshops.*  My life is forever changed! THANK YOU, Cheryl!
